My ex says he loves me...but he has a girlfriend!

Dear Advice Girl,

My ex said he still loves me, but he is dating another girl. I'm so in love with him! What should I do?

Dear Confused Girl,

Here's what you say to him:

"I'm so glad you have feelings for me, 'cause I still like you, too. But getting back together - or even kissing each other - is out of the question while you're dating someone else. So if you're serious about giving us another shot, you'll have to break up with her first."

(It sounds mean to the girl, but it would be waaaay meaner to let your ex cheat on her with you.)

If he really does love you, he'll break up with her. And if he refuses, then his feelings must not be that strong - and he probably only wants you for a booty call.

This is good advice,but wouldnt exactly beleive it this has happened to me my ex had a gf,and told me he loved me he left her,and we were talking again and i was so happy but after a while he completley ignored for months i deleted him from everything! im still in love with him,after the longest time he texted me like 2 days ago and now were going to homecoming together,lets hope everything works out this time around .

this is good advise. it may be hard to let him go if he wont break up with her, but remember that there's someone out there that will love YOU and not "you and someone else"

It depends on if he's in love with you or juss love you. But if he's in love with you then he should break up with his girlfriend to be with you.

maybe he really loves you maybe he doesnt but dont let him just use the i love you words to get in your pants.

Advise girl is right. Its only a booty call. Or youll be the girl he comes back to when he gets his heart broken. My ex has a girl but still syas she wants to be with me but if she really wanted me over her shed leave her and be with me..Its not worth all the pain. Forget him its hard but"Let go" Dont call him, Dont pik up on his calls. Hell see that he really lost you and that WE deserve better. I know how u feel but why put yourself through this. DONT forget hes the one that left you. I really hope you listen to me on this
