My Crush Won't Call Me Back!

Dear Advice Girl,

My crush and I talked on the phone a few times, but then he stopped calling me. I called him 9 times but he didn't answer.

I think I did something wrong but I don't know what. What should I do?

Part of flirting and dating is realizing that people might reject you for no reason at all.

You are not allowed to dwell on it. In fact, all you're allowed to do is: replay everything in your head once, talk to your friends about it once, see if you can learn anything from it, and move on. Any more than that and you'll drive yourself crazy.

You know what else you can't do? Call someone 9 times in a row. (Seriously! You even emailed me the same question five times.)

Calling this guy once, just to check in and see what's on his mind, would've been fine. Once you hit redial, you went from inquisitive to stalker-ish. Next time resist the urge.
