I Have a Crush on a Guy in My Class!

Dear Advice Girl,

I have a huge crush on this guy in my class. He knows I like him, and I heard he was planning to ask me out but I don't know if he's really gonna do it. He also constantly flirts with my friend right in front of me. What should I do?

Okay, the drama stops here! Either he likes you or he doesn't - and if he doesn't, then you deserve to know so you can move on.

Ask him to hang out next week sometime. Come equipped with a plan - like a rock show, a party or another fun event. (Just saying, "Do you wanna hang out?" is far too vague and might confuse him.)

If he wants to date you, he'll be all over it. But if he turns you down, then he must've just been playing games with you...and you can just pretend you were asking him out as a friend anyway.
