Should I help my crush get another girl?

Dear Advice Girl,

I like this guy, but he wants me to hook him up with this other girl. The girl and I have kind of had a rough past, as in, we used to be enemies. I mean, we just started being friends like a week ago. What should I do?? HELP ME!!!

Dear Samantha,

Never, ever help a guy you like get hooked up with another girl. Just...don’t do it. You might be thinking, “But Advice Girl, If I get close to him, and help him out when he’s in need, and act adorable and flirty while I’m doing it, clearly he’ll see that I’m the girl he wants and he’ll forget all about the other girl.” Guess what? It won’t happen.

Let’s review:

Helping a guy find his lost puppy = great.
Helping a guy find a hot babe = heartbreakpalooza.

If you positively know he likes THAT EXACT GIRL, then don't do it. I was helping a guy who I thought was really cute, get a girl I told him all sorts of things tot say to her, and gifts to bring her. He never told me who she was, and I totaly assumened she was my really preety best freind. The next week he gave me flowers, the day after that he bought me my fave CD. I asked him if he was practiceing and he kissed me. That was my friend(im the preety freind she talks about), he and her are so cute together.
