Why hasn't he called??

Dear Advice Girl,

This guy and I talk on the phone all the time. He usually calls me, but for some reason he hasn’t called in like 2 days. Should I call him or just forget about him?

Don’t freak out, okay? Two days is nothing. And anyway, there are plenty of rational explanations for it:

• Maybe he’s not sure that you’re into him.
  
  
• Maybe he’s been busy with other stuff.
  
  
• Since he’s not your boyfriend, and he’s not committed to you or anything, maybe he doesn’t think it’s such a big deal to wait a couple of days before he calls you again.

But why sit in your room and dwell on it? Just pick up the phone.

Remember the rule: call once, and if he doesn’t answer, wait until he gets in touch with you. Two messages in a row looks bad.
