Dear Advice Girl,

I was this guy's friend with benefits, and then I found out he was playing several girls the same way he was playing me.

I really wish that he and I could be together, although I know he won't date me.

Am I fool for falling for him?

Of course not. You can't help who you fall for.

But, um, if a guy wants to be friends with benefits instead of your boyfriend, it's because he wants to hook up with more girls than just you. So your big mistake was agreeing to be FWB in the first place. You should've known that he'd break your heart.

Now that you know, get over him fast. He'll probably never change his mind about dating you, so don't wait around for him.

And next time someone asks you to be friends with benefits, tell him no way. Messing around with guys outside of relationships just isn't worth it.
