He Told His Friends What We Did!

Dear Advice Girl,

My boyfriend and I had sex, and we promised each other we wouldn't tell anyone. But suddenly I've been hearing it from all his friends, and they seem to know every detail.

I asked my boyfriend if he told them, and he said no. Which I know is a complete lie.

But I'm in love with him and I don't want our relationship to end. Should I just pretend this never happened or what?

Let's look at the facts, shall we?

• Fact #1: Your boyfriend broke a promise he made to you.
  
  
• Fact #2: It wasn't any old promise, either. He wanted to brag to his friends, so he treated you like an object instead of like a girlfriend he loves.
  
  
• Fact #3: Then he lied to you about it. Again.

Looking at the facts, I don't see how you could feel comfortable sharing your love with him anymore. No matter how many awesome qualities he has, he'll always an untrustworthy liar.

If I were you, I'd ditch him.
