My boyfriend doesn't think I'm pretty. He says that looks shouldn't matter and he loves me for other reasons.

But how can I not be hurt? And how can you be in love with someone you don't find attractive?

Looks aren't everything, and you don't need to think your sweetie is a total supermodel. But in order for a relationship to work, there's gotta be some physical attraction. Otherwise it's just a really sad friendship with super-awkward makeout sessions.

Your guy might say he loves you, but without that physical attraction, things ain't gonna last. I'm not saying you should dump him, but, well...do you really wanna spend more time with a guy who doesn't even like you like that?

You deserve a boyfriend who thinks you're beautiful. This guy isn't him, so maybe it's time to break things off and just be friends.
