What To Say If Your Guy Pressures You

Dear Advice Girl,

Yesterday after a make-out session, my boyfriend asked me if that's as far as I'm ever going to go with him.

Later he apologized, and I forgave him, but I'm worried that he's still upset I won't go far enough.

I know most guys struggle with this. What should I do about it?

Dear Jessica,

You've set some important rules for yourself about how far you want to go with your boyfriend. And nothing he says or does - no matter how guilty you might feel - should ever make you break those rules.

Tell your guy that even if he's frustrated, these are your boundaries. Tell him that his complaints won't change your mind, but they do hurt your feelings.

Like you said, a lot of guys struggle with this – so you won't be telling him anything that he doesn't already expect to hear. And if he can't handle it, then he can't handle you.
