Am I A Jerk To Girls?

Dear Advice Girl,

Am I being too mean to some girls? I hardly notice any girls in my school unless on a scale from 1-10 they're like a 12. Sometimes when I'm in a hurry, a girl will start walking slowly right in front of me and I'll overtake her and keep going. Or if a girl is looking at me I'll glance at her for 2 seconds, at the most, then I'll roll my eyes and look away. Am I wrong?

What's going on with you, dude? If someone's blocking your way, girl or guy, I give you full permission to pass them. But why would you roll your eyes at someone for no reason? And why are you dissing on girls who aren't super gorgeous? Even the hottest guys in the world ought to be courteous to all women. You don't have to want to date someone to treat her like a human being.

Maybe your beef with girls is you get the feeling that none of them like you. Well...that's probably true. If you're nasty to someone, they tend to be nasty to you. If you ignore someone, they'll ignore you right back.

Lucky for you, it works the other way. Smile, be polite and say some kind words, and you'll get paid back with positive vibes.

Start small by smiling at the next girl who looks at you, or introducing yourself to the new girl in town, or helping someone out by carrying her books. It'll take some effort on your part, but it's worth it. Once you get rolling, you'll find that being nice is kind of addictive.
