Can Singing Get You a Boyfriend?

If you're not that pretty, but you can sing really well, is singing a way to get a guy to like you?

Dear Julie,

Don't pick a hobby based on whether or not it'll get you any dates. Pick a hobby because you love doing it.

If you do stuff you love, you'll be happier and more confident, and you'll meet other people who like the same stuff.

In those ways, I guess singing can get you a boyfriend. Not 'cause it casts a magic spell over guys, but 'cause you'll find ones who like singing, too - and when you meet them, you won't be afraid to talk to them.
