Did my flirty skirt make him notice me?

Dear Advice Girl,

I like this guy who's in 5 of my classes, and he never knew I existed. Last week I wore a skirt, and since then he's been looking at me. Why does he keep looking at me?? (Not that I don't like it.)

There's a ton of reasons why he might suddenly notice you. Maybe he just got new contacts or something.

But it's totally possible that the skirt did the trick. Why? ‘Cause if you loved wearing it, then it boosted your confidence. You might've stood taller and smiled more, without even realizing it. (Not that it takes a skirt to do that - confidence boosts can come from anywhere.)

Plus, if you're not normally the skirt-wearing type, it might’ve shown him a different side of you. Wearing stuff that's out of your regular rotation shows people you're full of surprises.
