My best friend is a dork!

Dear Advice Girl,

My best friend is a guy...a rather dorky guy. And I’m not dorky. People think it’s weird that we hang out all the time...but I love it.

I want people to realize how great he is and get past his looks. How do I do that?

Dear Kris,

How about this? Quit worrying about it. If people judge your friend based on his looks – or think less of you for hanging out with him - then they’re pretty lame.

Besides, the whole point of hanging out with friends is to have fun, not to look cool for strangers. Right? If you disagree, then go hang out with those shallow, too-cool-for-school people.

lol who cares, im one of the bigest preps at my school, so when i should be hanging out with the populars im always hangin with my REAL friends...the band geeks, chess club, math club...and the people that are just naturaly nerdy, psh my best friend is like the queen of the nerds but that dont bother me, it confuses other people but i dont care
