Help - My Friend Can't Get a Date!

Dear Advice Girl,

I have a friend who never gets dates because she's always frowning. I tell her to smile at guys, but she's too self conscious because of her braces.

Meanwhile, I have a boyfriend, and it's awkward to be around both of them at the same time because she never has a date. What should I do?

Your friend should know that braces are no big deal, and that showing them off is way better than frowning and looking like a total bummer. But you probably told her all that stuff.

As long as you're giving her good advice like that, and you're staying positive for her, you're pretty much doing your job here. It's not your fault that she can't get a guy.

So it's awks to hang out with her and your guy at the same time? Then make time to see each of them one on one. That way, they'll both have a chance to feel the love.
