He Gave Me a Hickey Every Single Day!

Dear Advice Girl,

I used 2 have a man (I broke up with him like 2 weeks ago) but the deal is that every day he'd suck on my neck and I always had a neck full of hickeys. I don't mind hickeys but come on, every day?

Do guys feel good about themselves when they give girls a hickey every single day?

Dear Denise,

It depends on the guy, of course. Some of them are just as creeped out by hickeys as it sounds like you are.

One thing's true about all guys, though: if they like doing something, and you don't give them a reason to stop, they're gonna keep on doing it.

So next time, if you're about to get a hickey (or a kiss, or anything else) that you don't want, speak up. If you don't, he'll think you're into it and he'll keep going. And that might be more than your poor little neck can handle.

A lot of guys find something they like and if a girl doesn't like it, they will usually leave her.. That's not to say you shouldn't speak out against it.. There are also a lot of guys (though not as many as before) that will just stop whatever you ask them to. If you can find one of those guys, then you will be much better off. All in all, You should tell your boyfriend anytime you don't like something.

my ex used to give me hickeys eventhough it wasnt everyday it would be the ones that turn purple and black and actually hurt for days. Then lol i was in the shower and lifted my arm up and felt a pain. I just realized he gave me a hickey on my arm! After that i had to tell him to calm down a bit.

I used 2 get hickeys like all the time, and all they are are hater marks. They jst prove that ur taken and ur some1 elses property and you can't b touched.... Would you want that kind of publicity! I mean ya get them, they feel good and most of the time you feel GOOD!!!!! But if you want great skin dnt get them 2much!!!! And they make other boys men bck off cuz you are taken...... They may look fun 2 get cuz most boys and girls get thm, but they can bring trouble, especially if you are too young.... You cabt b 2 old though....... Do you want 2 b taken as a marked gurl... And plus if you get 1 and you barely know the chick or dude & it dnt work then ur jst marked and mst ppl take that seriouz & wnt bother wit you. Yet others will tke that chance......
