How to Tell Him You Don't Love Him

Dear Advice Girl,

My boyfriend says he loves me but I don't think I love him yet. I don't want to hurt his feelings. What should I do?

Dear Krissy,

Absolutely don't say "I love you" back. That sort of lie will only cause hurt and heartbreak down the road (you know...when he finds out you were lying).

Instead, be honest without totally crushing his feelings. And say "I" a whole lot, so he knows it's all about you and that he didn't do anything wrong.

For example: "I really like you, and I love the time we've spent together. But I'm not ready to say those words yet. And I don't want to say them until I'm totally, 100% sure I mean it."

Okay, it's a mouthful...but you can change it up to sound more like your style.

Anyone else have suggestions?

my advise-if you dont (love)them then dont go out with them.it might hurt a little more when you break up but im fine and im still in love with my best friends that are both my x's
