How Can I Find Someone Perfect For Me?

No girl ever seems perfect for me. What's wrong with me?

Dear Rich,

The only thing that sounds wrong is that you're hung up on that crazy word, "perfect."

In the real world (you know, not counting movies), there's no "perfect" when it comes to compatibility. Every relationship has compromises, differences of opinion, and even some settling for stuff.

If you're dating someone awesome who just happens to have crummy taste in music, or has no interest in basketball when it's your favorite thing in the world, things can still work out (and even get better) if you don't get all Jerry Seinfeld and dump her on the spot.

So quit looking for the perfect girl. Instead, look for a girl you really, really like. If you're realistic about things, you might find that she makes you perfectly happy.
