My sister says I'm ugly - is she right?

Dear Advice Girl,

I’m extremely self-conscious of how I look, and my sister rubs it in and says I’m not as pretty as her. My friends beg to differ and say I’m very beautiful. I don’t know who to believe...please help!

Dear Ugly,

Believe your friends. You’re pretty.

How do I know? Because, like, 95% of being beautiful is believing it. (The other 5% is stuff like showering regularly and not having any open wounds.)

So if you know you’re hot, and if you push negative, hurtful thoughts to the side, you’ll be the hottie your friends already know you are.

(BTW, forget about whatever your sister tells you. She’s being a majorly insecure bully, and you can tell her I said so.)

u probably actually dont want to talk to ur sister because she will know it bothers u and she will keep it up but if u dont talk to her and let her think it bugs u she will eventually stop it when she sees that it doesnt bug you anymore. sometimes sisters just try to mess with your head. i know mine does

you know onlu you can tell how beautiful you really are. and your sister maybe actually be jeallous. if you want to send me a picture of you ill tell you how eautiful you really are! you are probably gorgeus and have heard the opposite so mu ch youhave started to believe it.

I'd talk to your sis. Something's bothering her and it would help you both if you found out what. If she's jealous and knows how to push your buttons try to calm that and reverse it by telling her she's beautiful. Be happy about it and walk away :D it'll confuse her and she won't know what to say!
