My hair is too crazy for this class trip!

Dear Advice Girl,

I have extremely curly and uncontrollable hair, and I usually straighten it. Well, here's the prob...I'm going to the country this month for my school trip, and our teacher says no electronics. That means no straightener!

How the heck will I be able to maintain my hair while on the trip? I'm not letting it become a frazzled mess!

If you're naturally curly, it's a crying shame you never wear it that way. Especially when you're out in the country, far away from your high maintenance life, you owe it to your curls to go au natural. (Don't be one of those girls who can't go for a walk in the woods without a suitcase full of beauty supplies!)

To minimize the frizz, wash your hair in the morning, add some anti-frizz gel and let it dry naturally. Don't brush it - just use your fingers to form curls while it's still damp.

And don't be nervous about stepping out with curly hair. I guarantee your classmates will think it's cool.
