Why do skinny jeans look weird on me?

Dear Advice Girl,

Whenever I go shopping for skinny jeans, they don't look right. Now, I'm kind of big, so whenever I try them on they make me look like a weird cone shape. Like, big on top and small on bottom. Do you have any advice that can help me figure out the right pair of skinny jeans?

Dear Let's Go Wildcats,

The thing about fashion is, not everyone is gonna look perfect in everything. Some clothes look best on curvy girls, while others seem to fit on only the teeniest little munchkins. It's nothing to get huffy about, 'cause everyone gets told not to wear something. (Except for Heidi Klum. Somehow, she can wear everything she wants.)

Skinny jeans generally look better on people with small hips. If you're curvy, you might wanna go with more of a bootleg cut. Or, if you wanna rock the skinny jeans, go ahead and wear them anyway. As long as you feel confident, you can make anything look hot.
